Maps

This Prezi was created as a presentation to be given in class on maps.

• Students will learn some basic map features, how to find things on a map, and types of maps. 
• Students will learn some very basic geography.  
• Students should continue their learning by practicing on their own, this is meant as an introduction and discussion starter.

2nd Grade Social Studies, Standard 3, Objective 2:

• Demonstrate geographic skills on a map and a globe.

Educational Technology Standard 5:

• Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom.
